The department trains students of National Technical University of Ukraine

“Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” in tree disciplines:

• ecological and industrial safety
• labor protection and civil defense;
• life safety and civil defense.

The department has a postgraduate course for the preparation of candidates and doctors of technical sciences.

For the last 5 years at the department:

published monographs and textbooks with the stamp of the Ministry of Education and Science – 19;

published methodical developments and methodical manuals – 25; 140 articles

protected intellectual property – 26.
