From December 1, 2021 in Ukraine, the subsistence level for able-bodied persons has been systematically increased from 2,379 UAH to 2,481 UAH.
Accordingly, the amount of related one-off benefits financed by the Social Insurance Fund of Ukraine for victims of accidents at work or occupational diseases, as well as persons entitled to benefits in the event of loss of a breadwinner has increased.
Thus, for persons whose right to insurance payments from the Fund came from December 1 this year, the amount of assistance will be:
- to the victim as a result of an accident at work in accordance with the degree of loss of professional capacity for work (maximum 17 living wage established by law for able-bodied persons, with 100% disability) - 42,177 UAH (previously - 40,443 UAH);
- family in case of death of the victim (100 subsistence level) - UAH 248,100 (previously - UAH 237,900);
- to the dependent in case of death of the victim (20 sizes of a subsistence level) - 49 620 UAH (earlier - 47 580 UAH).
