Department “Labor protection, industrial and civil safety” of National Technical Institute of Ukraine (KPI)

performs the following work:

• sanitary and hygienic assessment of new brands of welding materials in accordance with  ISO 15011  (definition of emission levels, the chemical composition and the degree of risk of exposure to welding fumes on the body welder) – issue evroprotoсol;

• preparation of the section on safety and the environment for the technical specifications for the new brand of welding consumables;

• determination of the content of harmful substances in the air of industrial premises;

• determination of welding fumes and gases in the breathing zone in accordance with  ISO 10882  (issue evroprotoсol);
